Born in São Bernardo do Campo, Andreas Kisser joined Sepultura in 1987, in time to record Schizophrenia. His guitar work followed the band's journey from the thrash metal of Beneath the Remains and Arise to the blend of styles on Roots, an album that expanded the group's international reach. In 2009, he released Hubris I & II, his debut solo album, a double album featuring rock and folk tracks.
