AC/DC formed in Sydney in 1973 with brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. After the first Australian albums, High Voltage opened the way to an international audience, and Highway to Hell marked the era with Bon Scott, who died in 1980.
The band carried on with Brian Johnson and released Back in Black that same year. After periods of hiatus and lineup changes, it returned to the studio with Power Up, in 2020, in tribute to Malcolm Young.
