Skindred

Skindred rose from the ashes of Dub War and turned Newport into an outpost for a sound that refuses to be caged: reggae, metal, punk, dancehall and nu metal colliding in the street.

With Benji Webbe in command, the band made the crossing of styles a party of resistance. From the heft of Babylon to the late triumph of Smile and You Got This, it became a British institution without losing the sweat.

Why listen to Skindred?

Few bands make a wall of guitars dance as if it were a block party in a neighborhood under siege.
