Os Vips

Os Vips is the duo of São Paulo brothers Ronaldo and Márcio Antonucci, who began their career in 1964. The name came about when a television director announced them as a duo after hearing them rehearse backstage.

In 1965, they released their first single and had a hit with “Menina linda”, a version of a Beatles song. “A volta”, by Roberto Carlos and Erasmo Carlos, marked the next phase. The duo split in 1976 and returned in 1990 with a live album.
