Mike Ness

Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, Mike Ness leads Social Distortion, the punk band he helped found in California in 1978. In 1999, he released two solo records: Cheating at Solitaire, with original songs that bring punk, rockabilly and country together, and Under the Influences, devoted to covers of songs that shaped his references. He kept fronting the group and maintained his solo career as a space to explore those musical roots.
