Jerry Adriani

Jerry Adriani was born in the Brás neighborhood of São Paulo and learned Italian from his grandmother. He began recording in 1964 with the LP “Italianíssimo”, a set of songs in Italian; the following year, “Um Grande Amor” featured “Querida” and brought him closer to the Jovem Guarda audience.

He also hosted television shows and, later, revisited the movement's hits on records and in concert. His career continued until his death in 2017.
