Filipe Catto

Born in Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul, Filipe Catto grew up in a family of musicians and began releasing their own work in the early 2010s. The 2011 album Fôlego introduced their blend of Brazilian song, rock and cabaret influences.

Entre Cabelos, Olhos e Furacões and Tomada followed. In 2021, they released Catto em Maysa; O Nascimento de Vênus Tour, from 2023, marked a period of affirmation of their trans nonbinary identity.
