Coral Guarani Tenonderã

Coral Guarani Tenonderã brings together young Guarani Mbya from the village of Sapukai, in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. The group performs traditional songs and compositions connected to Guarani life and memory, with voices, acoustic guitar and rabeca.

The audiovisual recording Tenonderã – Caminho a Seguir Guarani features songs and practices such as xondaro and tangará. The songs are performed in Guarani, keeping the language and oral tradition at the center of the group's work.
