Chico Caruso

Chico Caruso was born in São Paulo and became known as a cartoonist, political cartoonist and caricaturist, but also took part in musical projects centered on humor and political satire. With his brother Paulo Caruso and other colleagues, he formed Muda Brasil Tancredo Jazz Band.

The group's repertoire mixed songs and political commentary; some of this work was documented on the album Pra Seu Governo, associated with the Caruso brothers. His musical work ran alongside his career in graphic art and journalism without becoming the main focus of his output.
