Arnaldo Antunes treats the word as sound, image and matter. A founder of Titãs, where he helped shape the abrasive punk of Cabeça Dinossauro and Jesus Não Tem Dentes no País dos Banguelas, he left the band in 1992 for a solo body of work that mixes song, concrete poetry, video and visual art.
He also formed Tribalistas with Marisa Monte and Carlinhos Brown. His deep voice and economical verse turn minimalism into a form of estrangement.
