And One

And One emerged in Berlin in 1989, formed by Steve Naghavi and Chris Ruiz. The band released its first album, Anguish, in 1991, and secured its place in German synthpop with records such as Nordhausen and Virgin Superstar.

After lineup changes and a phase of more widely spaced releases, Bodypop, from 2006, marked a new high point. The group stayed active, with new albums and tours in the decades that followed.
