Ana Carolina arrived from Juiz de Fora with a deep voice, percussive guitar and an intensity that accepts no middle ground. Her 1999 debut brought “Garganta” and introduced a singer and songwriter able to move from confessional ballad to samba and pop without losing her signature.
“Quem de Nós Dois”, the double album Dois Quartos and the meeting with Seu Jorge on “É Isso Aí” made her one of the most popular voices in 2000s MPB.
